Halfords Autocentre Dartford

Had a water pump and drive belt replaced a few. Weeks ago , water pump blew on. A busy Monday morning called up dartford autocentre and manager said bring it down straight away and they replaced water pump and drive belt.the same day 😀 was happy with that as main dealer couldn't do it for 1week. Price was a little heavy because I was charged full price / of belt and labour for drive belt , when the drive belt is off anyway that was the only.thing . But I can't complain because we all need to earn money and dartford guys done it straight away no problems and no stress. Should of got there names , I'm sure they are on the invoice but I will be back soon I am sure for other repairs thanks guys.

Offered good tyre prices and tyre fitting process was seamless. Would like to see staff at the reception desk offer more expert knowledge.

I WOULD AVOID AT ALL COSTS - HONESTY ISN'T THIER FIRST LANGUAGE!!! Took my Audi Q2 for a battery check. Once they checked the battery they called to advise I needed a replacement battery and new alternator. The new alternator was quoted at £516. I told them I would call them back regarding the Alternator and just to change the battery for now (however, they advised the battery would no longer be covered under warranty). Prior to calling them back I called my usual garage - who quoted me £400 for the alternator but said they would first check it definitely needs replacing. The following day I booked my car in with my usual garage to be told the alternator is perfectly fine.

The male staff behind the desk at reception is very unfriendly and stiff. During MOT if you have left a child seat in the car, the MOT technician will not bother removing it out of the way to check your seat belt and will ruin your MOT with an advisory that seat belt not checked due to child seat present. Luckily I kept my car in good condition so passed the MOT with flying colours and I was out of there like a flash. Dreading to go back there next year. I hope they read this review and improve in the future. Thank you.

MOT for £29.99 (as long as you're in the club), done within the hour, email notification saying it's been completed. Quality... I might be saying different if my car needed anything doing to it mind, but as it didn't, It was a great in and out service. 👌
