I have been insuring 2 scout minibuses with Quotax since 2018 and have always found them competitive, helpful, and easy to do business with. However, on this occasion I would have welcomed being reminded of the renewal more than 5 days in advance, as I was on holiday when it came through and it was somewhat of a scramble to arrange payment and documentation remotely.

I am very disappointed the service firstly I was due for renewal and they did not sent renewal pack. When I am away a week I call them reminding my policy is due to expire and I need a quote. There was young lady properly new was on the other side of the line. She manage to came up a quote after couple hours, I was not happy with the quote so I question how many years of no claim bonus do I have. The lady replied 3 years on our system it shows but I know I should have 7 years. I have explained i should have 7 years. I am not sure how such a big mis information can happen. Next day they investigated and awarded my 7 years no claim bonus and the give me a quote that I am happy with it. Secondly when you have non fault accident your premier will go up till liability is settle. In my case liability was settle by the third party when I went to renew the following they never advise I am liable pay back because I have paid too much last year. My overall point ask what sort of information they hold from you. before excepting a new or renewal policy. I hope you get the quote you deserve (right quote) be lucky

Very slow in sending paperwork, had to chase them. Send renewal out a week before expires. I am not the only driver that experienced this. Lady who I dealt with very polite and knowledgeable, just need to sort the admin side.
