Bensons for Beds Derby Meteor

We visited this store looking to buy a new mattress in hope's it would improve my nights sleep and help with back pain. We we're approached by Pete who was friendly, knowledgeable and gave us honest information and advice. He was personable and down to earth and helped go through the pros and cons of each mattress we saw. Before this visit we had been to dreams and had a go on their sleep match machine, which recommended we needed a medium firmness mattress and said the cheapest suitable mattress was £1500. We explained this to Pete and he said that this is something they get alot of from dreams and that you don't need to spend that much money to get a good night's sleep. He also said that medium wouldn't be suitable for my back issues. He showed us several beds at all points in the price range and explained that the cheapest one at £200 would be a waste of money and wouldn't fit our needs, and said that if we could afford it the best one for us would have been one that costs £1100 we explained that this was out of our budget and we only needed it until we move into our own house. He then directed us towards the mattress that we purchased which he said would be perfect for us for the time we needed it and was within our price range.

Excellent customer service and a wide range of delivery slots. First rate communication from purchase to delivery. Very impressed

Service is shocking! Won't be ordering or recommending. 1. Staff at Derby branch never answer the phone so we missed our delivery date and had to wait another 3 weeks. 2. Waited in all day for delivery only to find out they never had the stock. Never got notified. We had to chase up. 3. Didn't install our headboard even though we paid for installation on our entire order.

Quality of products fine, no complaints. But we had to wait 2½ months for full delivery, 4 deliveries were scheduled to supply our 2 items. Simply not good enough.

Excellent delivery experience. They phoned to say they were on their way. Then phoned again to say they were delayed because of a road closure. When they arrived they put on shoe covers to protect my flooring, then took the bed upstairs. Kieron and Kieran were both polite, pleasant and helpful. Thank you 😊
