Excellent teachers Gemma, Gail and Trudy with numerous years teaching experience have helped the kids achieve great exam results. They have loved learning keyboard at this fantastic music school, I highly recommend it.

Visited for a free music lesson for my daughter and ended up signing up myself. Really friendly and knowledgeable teachers with lots of modern instruments to learn on.

Excellent. We are very pleased with our daughter's experience. We have come from Singapore and were struggling to find a guitar class that match that teaching style and efficiency This really came up to that. Very efficient teaching by Kev, easy arrangement of classes and convenient location with parking. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

My daughter has enjoyed 8 years of learning electric guitar at Yamaha, from an absolute beginner at 7yo through to grade 7 at 15. The students are prepared to take the appropriate exam each year, but there is no pressure to do so if they don't want to. If they are judged by the instructor to be good enough for the next level, then they will be allowed to move up with their peers, which was the decision we took with our exam-shy child after the first couple of years. They are also given a yearly opportunity to perform in concert at Derby Theatre, with students from other disciplines, which my daughter loved. This is a highlight for the parents, too. On the whole, the guitar music taught were not songs she already knew, but her 70s-90s rock loving Dad certainly did. That said, she enjoyed learning them regardless. Thanks Yamaha - thanks Kev.
