Cornerstone Church Nottingham

Sun 28th May 2017 First time visit. Great sermon 2 Tim 3:1-17 - Pete Brown "1. Pattern of life to avoid v1-9 2. Pattern of life to follow v10-17 =>Live lives of power and purpose. It's Gods word in the bible that show us how to live life well. Nowhere else. Do we believe God's word will do this? It alone brings joy and peace and eternal life." Awesome!

Cornerstone is a great church, all are welcome. Good teaching, nice staff. Amazing for families and the kids work is outstanding. There is a good range of mid week groups for all ages. Lovely building.

Its hyper-authoritarian tendencies undoubtedly appeal to the multitudes of foreign, especially Chinese students, that this multi-million pound establishment appears to attract. Indeed, it is the closest thing they can find to a dictatorship away from home. After the UK government that is.....

Was here on Saturday 25th March for my nephew's wedding. Huge place with a massive car park too. Very modern church where lots of the young students go. There was a little be band of church members instead of the usual organ 🎵. Outside is what they call the confetti 🎊 parade(which was even provided by the church and it was all degradable) lovely touch at the end of a lovely service 👍🏼

Really welcoming place for all ages, with a diverse multi-ethnic congregation. A dedicated, faithful, lovely leadership team. I have felt at home here for over 4 years now. The church holds so many events for the community throughout the year. It is worth having a look to see what events you may be interested in being part of!
