From our initial meeting with Shabana Hussein to arrange a joint Will, through to a follow up meeting to finalise the instructions, the interaction has been excellent and a really pleasant experience . We wanted to leave this review to recommend Shabana for anybody thinking of instructing a solicitor to arrange a Will. As two women, not married, and buying a house together, we wanted assurances that If anything were to happen to one of us, that the other would not be left without anything. Shabana understood, listened and made recommendations. She was keen to ensure we understood the implications for whichever Will we had prepared, always offering sound advice. We used Hopkins for a house sale. Sarah was really helpful and we appreciated being able to actually speak with Sarah over the phone often as opposed to all communication being via email. Recommend

If you need a legal letter written then I would suggest not going to Hopkins Solicitors. Don’t get me wrong this is not a negative review because an ex engaged Hopkins to send a solicitors letter to me. That was countered by multiple letters from a trainee solicitor at Fraser Brown. Now don’t get me wrong; a trainee solicitor vs a partner. Remember a trainee solicitor costs a fraction of what a partner costs but the partners from the firm will always check what a trainee sends. If you want to see what the partner sent, the spelling mistakes, the bad grammar then I will share it when Hopkins solicitors in Nottingham reaches 4* out of 5. I live literally around the corner from this solicitors; thank god I choose Fraser Brown for a response to this but also Rothera Sharp for purchasing my property. Myself and my partner individually bought and sold a house using Hopkins Solicitors. Our solicitor on both occasions was Sarah Ogilvy. Throughout both processes she was extremely efficient, calm and professional. She always seemed to be one step ahead which, when buying (and selling) is so important to provide reassurances and alleviate any unnecessary anxiety or stress. Over the phone and in person she was also very personable. We wouldn’t hesitate in using Hopkins again in the future and would thoroughly recommend Sarah. Thank you for everything, Alison and Dani.

Unfortunately my experience was negative and I would most definitely not recommend. My divorce was/and is incredibly acrimonious and complicated. Hopkins were simply not equipped to deal with such a case. On occasions when I expressed my disappointment and concerns about the way my case was being handled, the response I received was well you know where the door is!!!! Unfortunately I had to spend thousands more on an entire new legal team to take over the case.. who are doing an excellent job by comparison .
