DG Taxis

Avoid at all costs!!!!! We booked a taxi for 18th June to pick us up from wollaton and the mini bus never arrived. We called and was told it was cancelled. We had to book 3 separate taxis to get us all in and just got the plane on time as by time we got through security it was final call. The flight on the way back wad delayed and the driver just cancelled and again we had to get 3 separate taxis. Causing us a total extra of £210 all because of your incompetency. No apology nothing. We are going to write reviews on all social media and review websites to avoid this happening to anyone else. Absolutely disgusting customer service as well!!!!!! Filled in the form for a refund but I'm guessing you are going to take at least 6 months to get that money back to us !!! When I called and asked for you to send us taxis out of OUR money you already had, your agent just said no. We was with our elderly parents in their 60s and 70s and they had to hang around waiting for an hour in the airport after a delayed flight. Incompetent, rude and pathetically disgusting service all round!!!

Everything you want when you book a taxi: Punctual. Patient. Thoughtful. Helpful. Friendly. Lovely smooth drive. Considerate drop off. Gracious. Inexpensive. I will definitely ask for this great taxi driver again. And excellent communication from DG Taxis to tell me driver on way and when driver arrived.

Absolutely shocking air port pick up service. I was conscious of using them a second year running due to the awful experience last year but thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt. This year was just as unorganised with a half an hour wait for the taxi once we had made it through arrivals. Not sure why they take flight numbers and arrival times if they plan to not use them. Not ideal when you have a 3 year old travelling with you!

Taxi service Was very happy. My call was answered quickly, our vehicle arrived quickly, the driver was polite and put my things into the boot for me. Can't fault it and was definitely better than other companies I have previously used. I will be happy to use Camcab again. Jenny

Had an absolutely lovely experience. Taken from Giggling Squid Cambridge to Saffron Walden on Sunday evening. Very smooth ride, and the guy was chatting to us the whole way with a smile on his face! Would definitely use again. Good value too.
