Genuine Problem Solvers, helped me Look Smart, Be Smart and Become Book Smart
Had a problem with my concentration when staring at tv or computer screens etc, kept getting triggered or tired
Now my vision has gone from SD to 4K UHD
And my concentration has improved so I highly recommend to just check, they can detect issues 4 years in advance

Seen promptly by various staff. The optician was very friendly and approachable and took time to explain my results and give advice. I felt very reassured after my visit. She also offered useful advice about frames and lenses. Very satisfied.

Went to Sheffield Moor as had problems with my eyes. The whole experience was fabulous. I was treated with utmost respect and thankfully I had no serious issues however special thanks to Paul who checked my eyes thoroughly, fitting me into his already busy day! Excellent service across the board.

Recently visited Specsavers following a purchase earlier in year to adjust glasses on a weekend day.
Busy shop but was seen to quite quickly. Friendly staff who attended to my issue and quickly readjusted my glasses. Nothing to fault with service from this Specsavers branch.

Summer 2022, I walked into this branch.
I was greeted with a smile.
Me: Hi. Feel free to tell me to sling my hook, but the arm on my sunglasses has detached. The screw must have dropped out somewhere. Is this something you can help me with?
Assistant: I'm sure we can, but as this isn't a Specsaver's frame, it's at your own risk.
Me: Sure.
[Assistant smiles and disappears. I sit down, annoyed that my track record with sunglasses is as rubbish as its always been.... breaking/sitting on roughly two-a-year]
[7- minutes elapses]
[My annoyance at myself escalates]
[Assistant returns. He's smiling]
Assistant: It was a process of elimination, but I found the right screw. Here you go!
[Guy hands me a fully-repaired pair of sunglasses. He's still smiling. He seems to enjoy his job]
Me: You're a bit of a legend, aren't you? Thank you so much.
Assistant: You're welcome. Have a nice day.
Moral of the story?
There is no moral, I just hate how humans default to ONLY sharing stories of poor customer service. This guy was iconic.
The only regrettable thing about my experience is that it's taken me this long to write a review. Apologies!
