Lovely cafe, glad I found it on a google search. I preferred cafe FeVa to other popular places for afternoon tea in the city and I say that with confidence, as I visit York for an extended stay at least twice every year. Beautiful afternoon tea for four with a good choice of teas too. What we couldn’t eat, we took home 😊

Wow, what a great experience! Me and my party started on brunch then we have extended our stay ! Right in the heart of the city, when we parked up at the shambles q park it was so easy to get to. Initially we were late for our reservation but the lovely staff Alva managed to hold it for us and set the table up for our little York Adventure. Also she have given us the directions to the York train museum, she was very knowledgeable with all the trains which is a lovely conversation to have with her. We would love to visit again, and thank you for your wonderful food Alva !

This is an absolutely brilliant place for brunch. I usually has no appetite in the morning, but when my friend took me to this place I thought”okay, why not”. Thanks to myself, I made the right choice. The Full English breakfast is taste and fresh, I can enjoy the scenery outside the window while eating as well. BTW, I talked with the owner and she was very enthusiastic about her food and restaurant, very friendly lady. You should definitely try this restaurant

nice and quiet cafe on the first floor of an antique shopping building. on Sunday morning when there were lots of people on the streets and ground floor cafes, it was not crowded at all. careful not to ring the bell before you decide what to order cuz they hear it really well! enjoyed the golden drop(?) cappuccino also.

A gem found. We were looking for a place to try Yorkshire pudding. This Cafe is located on the first floor of the Antique shop like everyone mentioned, so when you step into the cafe it might got an “Antique smell”, which not everyone keen to it. However, we were fine with it and you get used to it after awhile, the staff was very friendly and nice with the order process. We waited for 20 minutes for our food, and we were so pleased with the wait. The food itself was absolutely delicious. The first bite of the Yorkshire pudding was incredible. The hot sandwich is crispy but not oily. Food was very hot and a good temperature to eat. I ordered a smoothie which also great. It was our first meal in York and it’s exceed our expectations. We definitely will recommend this place to everyone, and will definitely go back.
