Alpha Taxis

A superb taxi service. Ordered cab by phone stating pick up point, received a text message giving make, Colour and registration of cab assigned to us. Five minutes later it arrived. The driver was extremely helpful and whilst taking us to our hotel he pointed out places to visit during our stay in Liverpool.

Arrived within 10 minutes, send you a message to confirm your booking and a receipt at the end with the final bill amount. Much improved service since the last time I used the firm a few years ago. Would definitely use again based on this last experience.

Lovely little pub that allowed free parking of my camper overnight. Friendly staff and locals. Dog friendly with home made dog treats. A local from the pub was kind enough to do a quick fix for free in my van the next morning. Really relaxed atmosphere. Thanks for having us over!

They were pretty good for local taxi but would not use again for airport. Quite disorganized- showed up 30 min prior to booking and acted like they were doing me a favour when asked to wait until the booking time. I asked to go to a cashpoint on the way to the airport. Drove directly to airport and then told me to get cash inside.This took longer than expected, driver knew the cashpoint was far away, told my husband this who was waiting for me, but didn't mention it to me before I went inside. Got a fine by airport parking attendant and had to pay that as well. Also told me price was more than initially quoted. Ended up paying almost double than quoted price for airport booking when factoring in fine and raised price

We used Alpha Taxis on a recent trip to Liverpool, and had great service! The taxi arrived on time, the driver was knowledgeable, friendly and very obliging. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name so I can’t thank him personally. He was an Irishman from Dublin with a lovely Irish brogue. If anyone recognises him from this poor description, please pass on our heartfelt thanks!!
