Was here for a course, so didn't stay in a room. staff were lovely, food was great and good service.
The covent garden hotel is a home away from home and i now stay there every time i visit london. the seven dials location is perfect for dinner, theatre and interesting shops (and only 10 minutes on the central line to the city for work) and the decor and attention to detail are simply stunning. there seems to be very limited turnover of staff and it’s great to see the same friendly faces on every visit. i’ve lived in asia for more than two decades, and throughout that time i’ve always said that my favourite hotel is the iconic mandarin oriental in hong kong. for me the covent garden hotel, while clearly very different, is now its equal.
Came for lunch on saturday food was super. so much so we tried to bring family members the next day for spot of lunch before a matinee. unfortunately turned away with 20 empty tables... ended up down the road instead. disappointing after a great first meal to be let down...
Had a fantastic lunch at the brasserie last week , my youngest is gluten and diary intolerant and the staff were wonderful, they had superb gluten free bread. the eggs as you can see below were light and fluffy cooked with no butter. the avo on toast was also superb. we popped up to the library upstairs after lunch for a little r&r it’s an awesome area to unwind.
